New Zealand Tour was great!

The Leather Artisans Conference was amazing. It was so great to be with people who really understand Garry's workmanship. We learned a lot about the instruments we play.

We covered a lot of kms and saw some gorgeous South Island scenery, played in good venues and met wonderful people, and animals! Staying at Llama Lookout was undoubtably a highlight.

Medieval Mead Party

This was fun - we played outside Honey Tasmania in the Quadrant Mall while they offered mead tastings. Great party, nice meads! Lovely people! EP Launch

Oops! we had the launch and didn't get the gig blog updated. It was at Alchemy Bar Friday, April 9. Nice space - great leather couches! If anyone got a pic to share let us know!

New CD: Spare Change

We've got a new EP out: Spare Change. It has 6 songs - 4 previously unrecorded ones, and 2 new versions that had to be done because Dan keeps coming up with better percussion kits.

We're really happy with it. It's a good representation of what we really sound like. We've come a long way since the 2003-4 recordings on the previous CD.

New songs: Spare Change, Sound Cheque, Grey Sea Shanty and Samba
Great new versions of: Tango and Cordoba

It's available from us: $15 will cover getting it posted to you if you're in Australia. We'll be doing a launch in a few weeks in Launceston, somewhere. Watch this space!

New Zealand Tour April 2010!

We're off to New Zealand in April for the National Conference of the Association of New Zealand Leather Artisans and a tour of the South Island. We still have a few openings for gigs in the Christchurch, Nelson and Oamaru areas, especially daytime ones (schools, museums, etc.)
